What is the difference between MovieUP and MovieUP ST?

Both MovieUP and MovieUP ST are transcoding modules. MovieUP is a client-based module and MovieUP ST is a server-based one. MovieUP helps you to have your own video-related service without any extra cost. MovieUP ST allows you to keep the original video file for external services such as IPTV, streaming or downloading services.

If you use MovieUP ST, you can easily maintain the original video file in your server. You can also convert the original file into a specific format for IPTV, streaming, downloading and mobile service later.

What kind of video files do you support?

Basically, every kind of video file can be supported on your request. WMV, ASF, AVI, MPEG 1/2/4, DAT, VOB, RM, MOV, FLV, MP4, 3GP can all be supported at the moment. You can specify an input and output file format for your video-related service.

What is a codec and why should we install a codec?

Regardless of file format, a video file is compressed under a specific method. A codec is a compressing/decompressing method, or a program that helps convert and play video file. If there is not a suitable codec in the client computer, the video file cannot be played. It is strongly recommended to install the ENJSOFT unified codec pack.
